Water - The Stuff of Life
Water. Every living thing needs it to survive. We cannot live without water.
In ancient times, people lived near a water source for this very reason! Water is essential to human life.
If you go into almost any grocery store in the United States, you will usually find an entire aisle filled with almost every drink imaginable such as: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, juice, soda, Gatorade, Kool-Aid, flavored water, vitamin water, coconut water, and yes, water!
While some of those drinks are fine in moderation (and some are not good for you!), none of them are a substitute for drinking water. Save some of those drinks as special treats rather than your daily intake of fluids.
Here are some reasons why it is so important to drink plenty of water every day:

3. Water helps with digestion.
4. Water helps you from becoming dehydrated.5. Water helps your brain function optimally.
6. Water helps keep your cardiovascular system healthy.
7. Water can even help you lose weight!
The adult human body is made up of around 60% water! Our organs need water to function properly.
Sadly, many people today drink anything and everything but water, and when our bodies don't get enough water, they have a harder time functioning properly. Soda just doesn't do the same job in our body that water does.
Other people (myself included at times) don't drink enough water. Things like headaches can sometimes be caused by simply not drinking enough water.
Water is so important!
If you only drink 1-2 cups of water a day, try to slowly increase to 3-4 cups of water a day, until you reach more like 6-8 cups of water a day. (it depends on your weight and size) Some people may even need to drink more water than that. If you don't drink enough water, try to increase slowly. Don't go from drinking 1-2 cups of water a day to 6-8 cups the next day, otherwise you may have to run to the restroom more frequently and might not feel very good. Let your body adjust slowly!

One of the best choices you can make for good health is to drink plenty of water!
